Shirley Gerhard

Shirley Gerhard, 68 of Perry Township, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Shirley was born in Confluence, PA on November 21, 1947, the daughter of the late Richard and Alice (Anderson) Gerhard. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1966 graduate of Washington High School. Shirley was a lifelong caregiver. She enjoyed crafting, fishing and making chocolates. Shirley also collected light houses. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Charles and Richard 'Ed' Gerhard. She is survived by her sons, Charles (Andrea) Rudy of Chesapeake, VA and William (Michelle Brake) Rudy of Louisville, KY; her grandchildren, Brendan and Braelyn Rudy and Keeno and Amber Galindo; and her great grandson, Donny. A Celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Saturday, December, 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sixteen St. John's Cemetery.
