Shirley A. Green

Shirley A. Green, age 71 of Massillon passed after a brief illness. She was born on April 20, 1947 in Massillon to the late Woody and Bernice (Snyder) Shonk. She was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School. She married Richard T. Green on March 25, 1968 and they shared 50 years together. Shirley worked for Fisher Foods until her retirement. She enjoyed making ceramics and fishing with her husband. Shirley was a people person and will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mom, stepmom, sister, aunt and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Richard; her children Tracey, Christopher and Richelle Green and John (Sandy) Erich; her grandchildren Patrick, Ryan, Cara, and Charles; and 1 great granddaughter; her brother Gary Shonk and a host of family and friends.
