Shirley A. Brannan

Shirley A. Brannan, age 76 of Massillon died on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Hanover House. She was born on June 9, 1935 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Edna (Schmidt) Stephan. She was a 1953 graduate of Central Catholic High School and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Other memberships included the Sons and Daughters of Herman, the Massillon Moose and the Concourse Club. Along with her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her brother Frederick Stephan. She is survived by her husband, Niles K. “Nick” Brannan, whom she married on October 15, 1955, her sons, Jeffrey (Sue) Brannan and Dave Brannan both of Massillon, her grandchildren, Amy Donohue and Adam Brannan, her great granddaughter, MaKaelyn Donohue and her sister Elaine Hudak. There are no calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place and her cremated remains will be buried at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
