Sheryl Kaye Logan

Sheryl Kaye Logan, age 59 of North Lawrence, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011. She was born in Akron on July 15, 1951 to the late Donna M. (Knobb) Slusser. Sheryl was a life resident of Newman and North Lawrence. She graduated from Tuslaw High School in 1968. She was self employed for 36 years as a hair stylist and taught ceramics for 33 years. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Sheryl was preceded in death by her beloved twin brothers, Thomas W. Logan and Timothy H. Logan; grandparents, Henry & Edna (Rohr) Knobb; step father, Warren “Red” Slusser and her uncle, John B. Jones. She is survived by her aunts and uncles, Betty & Nick Kasunic, Katie Jones, James & Bonnie Knobb all of Massillon, Robert & Norma Knobb of Dalton and many cousins. She also leaves behind her precious pets, Pansy Faye her dog and Gizmo her cat. Her love, kindness and gentleness for all her family, pets and friends will be sadly missed, but will always be remembered with happiness. In honor of her wishes, she has been cremated. A private graveside service was held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a pet rescue group of your choice or rescue a pet in Sheryl’s name.
