Sharon A Welsch

Sharon A. Welsch, age 78, of Massillon passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021. She was born on February 25, 1943 to the late Doyle and Mildred Warnes. She was a 1961 graduate of Garaway High School in Sugarcreek, Ohio. Sharon married William “Ted” Welsch on April 29, 1969 and they shared 52 years together. Sharon retired as the Head Cook at Massillon Washington High School after 30 years of service with Massillon City Schools. She enjoyed bowling, cookouts and family gatherings and was known for her Potato Salad. She was known as everyone’s Mom and was always quick with a joke. Sharon will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother and friend. She is survived by her husband Ted; her children Scott A. Welsch and Jennifer L. Welsch; an aunt Irene Warnes; an uncle Donald Warnes; a cousin Larry Warnes and host of family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 07, 2021 at 7p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive friends from 5p.m. until the time of the service.
