Shane Andrew Sigley

Shane Andrew Sigley, age 28 of Massillon passed away unexpectedly on August 01, 2017. He was born June 20, 1989 in Massillon to Sheila R. Russell. He graduated from Washington High School. He honorably served his country in the U.S Army with deployments in Kuwait and Iraq. He was proud to have received the Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Armed Forces Reserve Medal and the Driver and Mechanic Badge. He was an avid fan of video games and enjoyed Archery. Shane will be remembered as an intelligent, unpretentious and quiet soul. He had a love for animals, especially his cats Frankie and Sonya. Shane was an amazing brother to his younger siblings. He is survived by his Mom and Stepfather, Sheila and Chad Russell; his brother Michael Hill; his sister Sydney King; his grandmother Anna Elkins; his aunts Johanna Wayne and Pamela Hubbard and his uncle Phil Sigley. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Phil Sigley Sr.; his aunts Vicky Rowley and Sherry A. DeVault.
