Scott F. Okey

Scott F. Okey, 62, of Massillon, passed away on November 9, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital. He was born on July 10, 1960 to Jean (Martin) and the late Francis Okey Jr. Scott attended Glenoak High School in Canton and graduated from Killeen High School in Killeen, Texas in 1979. He married Marilee Hain-Cammel on December 19, 1992 and they shared almost 30 years together

Scott was the Owner/Operator of Okey Trucking for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed restoring antique Tonka Trucks and playing with Gracie, his faithful canine companion. In addition he enjoyed NASCAR, bike riding, and hunting. He will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving husband and protector, stepfather, Papa, brother, uncle, and friend.

Scott is survived by his loving Wife, Marilee; his stepchildren Betheny (John) Dunfee and Jake Cammel; his grandchildren Ron and Ryan Dunfee; his sisters Jan (Marvin) Rainwater and Barb (Ray) Okey-Rodhe; his nieces and nephews Trisha, Hoby, Faith and Erin; his great-nephew Braxton and a host of family and friends. In addition to his father, Scott was preceded in death by his Grandparents Francis and Helen Okey Sr. and Burt and Rose Martin and his beloved canine companion Jackie.

A Celebration of Scott's life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 11a.m. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 6-8p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service.
