Scott D. Osborne

Scott D. Osborne, 64, of Jackson Township, passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 1, 2024, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Scott was born on August 4, 1959, in Massillon, the son of Franklin Osborne and Lois (Nussbaum) Osborne.

Scott was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1978 and continued his education at the University of Akron where he received his Master's Degree in Polymer Science. He was a dedicated optician and worked at several local practices. He was an avid reader, enjoyed movies, traveling and music.

He is survived by his mother, Lois Osborne; brother, Alan Osborne; nieces, Haley Osborne, and Jessie Osborne; and his nephew, Joshua Osborne.

He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Osborne, and his sister, Linda Osborne.

There will be a private Celebration of Scott's life at a later date.
