Scott D. Longheier

Scott D. Longheier, 64 of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. He was born on September 15, 1954 in Massillon to Jack and Mary (Schwab) Longheier. Scott was a 1972 graduate of Jackson High School and went on to work in the family business, Duncan Jewelers. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Scott was preceded in death by his father John “Jack” Longheier and his granddaughter, Izabelle Longheier. He is survived by his daughters, Erin (Mike) Snider and Brooke Longheier, his grandchildren, Jazdyn Longheier, Steven Snider, Kenzie Longheier and Izaac Longheier, his mother Mary Longheier, his brother, John (Bonnie) Longheier, his sister Vohn (Chris) Kolm and his longtime companion Sheri Meyer. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Sunday, November 4th from 2-5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, November 5th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you do what Scott would do, perform a random act of kindness or make a donation to your favorite charity.
