Saundra Marie Mitchal

Saundra Marie Mitchal passed away on June 19, 2021. She was born in Massillon, Ohio on June 3, 1949 to the late Betty J. Brown and the late Clyde R. Mitchal. She was also preceded in death by her Step-Father, Ernest E. Brown and her Sister, Linda Brown Cochran. She is survived by her Sisters, Marsha Malone and Karen Mitchal, her Brother, Rodney Mitchal, her Nieces, Shannon Holland, Courtney Cochran and Taylor Cochran, and her Brothers-in-Law, Merrick Malone and Harold Cochran. Her loss will also be felt by many cherished Family members and Friends. Saundra received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Kent State University, followed by her MBA from Indiana University. She held a variety of corporate marketing positions, including Vice-President of marketing for Neutrogena and retired as Chief Marketing Officer for the Washington, DC Lottery. While at Kent State, Saundra was President of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She was also awarded the Distinguished Citizen Award from Washington High School. Saundra appeared in many business magazines throughout her career, profiled often because of her leadership in the field of marketing. She was also a proud, founding member of the African American Women’s Business Network in New York City. Family and friends will gather at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 10am -11am with A Home Going Celebration to be held at 11am in the funeral home. Rev. Le Counte P.
