Sandra Marie (Krisher) Reeg, age 80 of Canton, Ohio, passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 6, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic / Mercy Medical Center.
Sandra was the daughter of Philip and Mae Krisher. She graduated from Washington High School in Massillon, Ohio, in 1962. In 1966, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio, where she was a member of the Otterbein A Cappella Choir, Phi Sigma Iota National Romance Language Honorary, Tau Delta Sorority, and the Otterbein Student Education Association. After teaching school for two years, Sandra gave up her career to become a full-time wife and mother. She also devoted much time to volunteering at her church.
In 1980, Sandra established a private tutoring business, working with students from the Toledo area who needed remedial help as well as offering enrichment activities to gifted students. She continued her business until 2006 when she and her husband retired and moved to Canton, Ohio. After settling in Perry Township, Sandra served on the Board of Trustees of the Dublin Hills Condominium Association for five years. In addition, she authored many articles which were printed in Gospel Herald, a quarterly magazine, and The Sunday School Times, a weekly magazine published by Union Gospel Press.

He survives along with children Kevin (Kendra) of Mentor, OH, Mark (Rachel) of Wenatchee, WA, and Kristin of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Kara (Mickey) Bigley, Emma, Alex, Analise, and Mariah; sister Connie Weaver and brother Jim (Julie) Krisher. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.
Sandra was a devoted Jesus follower who loved to share her faith. Among her favorite Bible verses are Romans 8:38, 39: "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (NKJV).
