Sandra Irene (Roth) Bulso

Sandra Irene (Roth) Bulso passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022, after a long and courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. She was 80 years old. Sandy was born on May 30, 1941 to Homer and Irene (Eckersberg) Roth. She grew up as a member of St. Joseph’s Parish in Canton, Ohio and was a 1959 graduate of Central Catholic High School. In her younger years, her employment included working at Rothermel Realtors and The Northeast Adjustment Company. Although she devoted most of her life to homemaking and child rearing, she also volunteered at the Arthritis Foundation and worked at Zelei’s. Sandy was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. She was always there for anyone who needed her. She will be remembered for her social graces, and her unending love and support. In 1962, she married the love of her life, Ronald Bulso with whom she shared 53 years. He preceded her in death in 2016. Also preceding are her parents; siblings-in-law and their spouses; Anita & Dominic Lepore, Richard & Phyllis Bulso, Norma & Daniel Rossetti; Brothers-in-law; Joseph Bulso, Eugene Bulso, Norman Fernandez, and Samuel Smith; Sister-in-law Judith Shaffer; Nephew, Joseph Bulso; Nieces; Sharon Kolberg, Mary Ann Bulso, and Mary Francis Cassidy. Sandy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Randy Wood, and grandson Ryan Wood. Also surviving are her siblings; Susan Baldwin and Edward (Katy) Roth; Brother-in-law, Richard Shaffer; Sisters-in-law; Joanne Bulso, Virginia Bulso, and Janet Fernandez-Smith and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like extend a heartfelt thank you to her devoted caregivers; Marlene Finney, Michelle Wollet, Tamarus Wooden, and Drema Gainey. The loving and devoted care they provided allowed Sandy to fulfill her wish to remain at home. We will be forever grateful for each of them. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in North Canton on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at noon. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE, Massillon, on Friday March 18, 2022 from 5-7:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:30-11:25 a.m. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens – 7920 Frank Avenue NW, North Canton, OH.
