Sandra A. Murray

Sandra A. Murray of Piedmont, SC passed away July 29, 2008 at her residence. Sandy was born November 22, 1943 in Springfield, OH to the late Robert & June (Hildebran) Alexander. She attended Ohio State University and graduated from Columbus Business University. She and her husband moved to South Carolina in 1992. Sandy was employed by Ohio State University for 14 years and more recently at Clemson University, retiring in 2007. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, June Bryant and a brother Robert Alexander. She is survived by her husband Dennis Murray with whom she shared 36 years of marriage; sister and two brothers; Nancy (John) Craycraft of Springfield, OH, Terry (Pam) Alexander of Kingsport, TN and Steve Alexander of Kettering, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 4, 2008, 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 PM Sunday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Memorials may be sent to any Hospice or to Cancer Research.
