Samuel Ries

Samuel Ries, age 76, formerly of Massillon, passed away on January 6, 2019 at the David Simpson Hospice in Cleveland. He was born on August 27, 1942 in Massillon to the late Walter and Irene (Shipman) Ries. He is survived by his sisters Dorothy Taylor, Candy Meyer and Thelma McGuire. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Raymond Ries, Zola Fay Shearrhard, William Ries, Delores Gainey, Donald E. Ries, David Lee Ries, Sr., Robert H. Ries, Charles B. Ries, Roy Herman Ries, Katherine Collins Stillman, Relda May Berger, James Lloyd Ries, and Jack F. Ries. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 16th at 1 p.m. at Brookfield Cemetery in Massillon.
