Sally J. McGraw, age 70 of Navarre, passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 22, 2017 with her husband by her side. Sally was born on January 27, 1947 in Massillon, the daughter of the late Leo M. and Dora Isabel (Herman) Halco. On August 3, 1969 she married Michael R. McGraw and they shared 47 loving years together. Sally was an educator for the Fairless School District, retiring after 30 years of service. She taught Country / Western line and partner dancing at the Red Lantern Barn in Brewster, volunteered at the Village at University Inn as a Choir Director & Pianist/Organist for their chapel and at Altercare of Navarre, and volunteered at Make-A-Way Foundation. Sally was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she played in the Bell Choir for 19 years. Sally enjoyed reading, gardening and watching her favorite sports team. Along with her husband Michael she is survived by her brothers and sister, David (Vicki Kutz) Halco, Philip (Gwen) Halco, and Sue (Gerald) Weiss; and sister-in-law, Pat Perkins. A Celebration of Sally’s life will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Massillon. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either St. Paul’s Flower Fund: 127 Cherry Rd.
