Sally S. Gumpp - Miller, 90, of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Sally was born on July 8, 1934 in Massillon, Ohio the daughter of the late Harold and Doris (Cochenour) Eberhardt.
Sally was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School. She loved the Massillon Tigers. Over the years Sally enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends on Turkeyfoot Lake. She had an amazing sense of humor and loved making people laugh. Sally had a very outgoing personality and was a friend to everyone. She and her late husband, Bob, enjoyed dining out, and traveling. She was a lifetime member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her children, Charles "Chad" F. (Chris) Gumpp, II, Todd L. (Bob Leishman) Gumpp, and Kimberly J. (Brian) Fichter; grandchild, Bridget (Micah) Bowden, Charles 'Charlie' Gumpp, III, Katie (Jason) Himes, Hilary (Dean) Bricker, and Tyler Fichter; great-grandchildren, Cole and Cody Himes, Bryce Bowden, Madeline and Hudson Bricker; as well as numerous nieces, and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Miller; brothers, Paul Eberhardt, Wayne Eberhardt, and Howard Eberhardt; sister, Janice Miller; and previous husband, Charles 'Chuck' F. Gumpp.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 10-11 am at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Massillon. The funeral service will follow at 11 am. Fr. George Baum will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church: 226 3rd Street SE, Massillon, OH 44646.
