Ryan Richard Smith

Ryan Richard Smith, age 33 of Alliance, passed away suddenly on July 7, 2021. Ryan was born on December 13, 1987 in Dover, Ohio to Eric and Lori (Kohl) Smith. He graduated from Oak Harbor High School and worked as a Roofer. Ryan was an amazing dad, and adored being his children’s t-ball and soft ball coach. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, mowing his grass in perfect lines, and going hunting on Smith Mountain. Ryan loved going to Jacksonville Jaguars games with his dad, and playing softball. He was preceded by his grandmother, Lona Kay Smith. He will be deeply missed by his father, Eric (Reneen) Smith, mother, Lori Kohl, fiancée, whom he was to marry on August 27, 2021, Shelby Burcham, children, Nolan and Lincoln Smith, and Aislyn and Aliyah Burcham, sister, Haley Smith, niece, Lakelyn Rucker, grandparents, Thomas Smith and Mike and Patricia Kohl, aunts, Shari (Kevin) Sharrock, and Tammi Smith, uncle, Michael (Bri) Kohl and cousins, Briar, Tucker and Arrington Sharrock, Courtney Capestrain, Amanda Caughman and Alice Kohl. Friends and family may come to call on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Paquelet Funeral Home.
