Ruth V. Gardiner

Ruth V. Gardiner age 87 of Massillon passed away June 26, 2011 at Brewster Care Center. Ruth was born August 31, 1923 in Massillon to the late Junius & Mable (Slicker) Garrett. She and her husband had owned the former H & R Lounge. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Howard Gardiner, two sons J.C. Jamison and Charles (Chuckie) Jamison and two sisters: Margaret Davis & Shirley Garrett. She is survived by a son Hollis (Elsie) Jamison of Massillon and three grandchildren: Tammy (Dave) Bavery, Tina Jamison and Carl Gatewood; five great grandchildren and a great great grandson Brandon. Her funeral service will be 4 PM Thursday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Her final resting place will be Sunset Hills.
