Ruth Pappas

Ruth Pappas, 93, of Canton, passed away on January 19, 2025. She was born in Brighton, MA on February 12, 1931 to the late Zacharias and Mary {Deligianides} Agabedis. 

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Zacharias and son Harry. 

Ruth is survived by her loving daughter, Debbie (Arthur) Allen; son Paul Pappas; grandchildren Alyssa and Adam Pappas, Jon (Jenn) and Jeff Allen and Zack (Joelle) Pappas; great-grandsons Niko Pappas, Avery and Emerson Allen; brother Harry (Laurie) Agabedis. 

Ruth enjoyed gardening, and made wonderful memories spending summers at Cape Cod. Ruth loved the beach, and took opportunities to travel often. Her favorite pastime, however, was spending time with her family. She felt such pride in each one of them, and they all felt her unconditional love and support. Despite the daily health challenges she faced for so many years, Ruth met them with optimism and grace, never wavering in her strong faith, and her first concern was always for the well-being of her family.

We are greatly comforted knowing with all confidence that Ruth is now fully enjoying her eternal life.

Private services will be held for Ruth's family, and she will be laid to rest with her husband at Forest Hill Cemetery, Canton.
