Ruth G. Turner

Ruth E. Turner, age 72 of Navarre, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on August 20, 1938 in Sutton, WV and was the daughter of the late Javis and Catherine (Cottrill) Dilley. She was a member of East Greenville United Methodist and the Massillon Women’s Bowling Association and had served as the league secretary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and playing bingo. She is survived by her husband, Samuel G. Turner, Sr., whom she married on November 5, 1956 and would have celebrated 54 years of marriage, her daughters, Kathryn (Albert) Wohlwend and Kimberly Turner, her sons, Samuel G. (Lisa) Turner, Jr., Mark (Sherry) Turner and Mitchell Turner, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and her sisters, Ruby Young and Alice Holben and brother Burnell Dilley. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 10 :00 A.M. at The Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Revs. Harry and Mary Lou Merryman officiating. Entombment will follow at the mausoleum at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday (TONIGHT) from 5-8 P.M. and on Thursday one hour before the service.
