Ruth E. Geyer

Ruth E. Geyer, 89, passed away on December 10, 2017. She was born in Canton on July 7, 1928 to the late Clarence and Edna May (Aldinger) Frederick. Ruth was a graduate of Timken High School, Class of 1947, worked for The Hoover Company and was a member of First Church of The Resurrection. She loved to knit, sew, crochet, bake and cook. Recently she had knitted hats and blankets for the Childrens Hospital NICU. Ruth enjoyed her time spent with family and was known for her independence. She is survived by her son, Thomas Geyer; grandchildren, Tim, Jonathon and Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Cole, Nick, Makalee, Caleb and Kayson. She was also preceded in death by her son, Tim Geyer, Sr.; and a sister, Catherine Thouvenin. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet & Arnold -Lynch Funeral Home on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 2pm-4pm with a funeral service at 4pm, Pastor Bruce Mont, officiating.
