Ruth Ann Hines

Ruth A. Hines, age 86 of Massillon, passed away on November 25, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Scio, Ohio on April 08, 1933 to the late Raymond and Mary Shawver. She married Fred Hines and they shared 48 years together until his passing in 2002. Ruth retired from Heinz Foods after 18 years of Service. She enjoyed cleaning, crosswords, gardening and playing cards. Most importantly she loved her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Richard (Rachael) Hines and Amy (Ray) Borell; her grandchildren Erica and Ethan Borell and Michael and Matthew Hines; her sister Janet Tack and a host of family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her sisters Sarah, Clara and Pauline. In accordance with Ruth’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a private service at a later date.
