Ruth A. Henderson

Ruth A. Henderson, 97 of Canal Fulton, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015. She was born in Dennison on February 23, 1918 and was the daughter of the late Arnell and Irma (Allensworth) Henderson. She was a graduate of Washington High School and went on to graduate from Bible College. She had been the secretary at the Massillon Baptist Temple and served as a social worker for the Massillon Salvation Army. She was a member of Calvary Chapel. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Edith Cecil, Jean Matako and Betty Schultz and her brothers, William, Warren and Robert Henderson. She is survived by her sister, Sylvia DeVecka and her brothers, Carl and Earl Henderson. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday (TONIGHT) from 6-8 p.m.
