Russell William Stradwick

Russell William Stradwick “Johnny Dolla”, age 84 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Russell was born on August 13, 1926 in Wheeling, WV the son of the late James and Lillian (Ferguson) Stradwick. Russell worked for Timken Company as a steel worker in 1956. Russell visited True Church House of Prayer and enjoyed when the church members visited his home. He was a sports enthusiast, enjoyed walking and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Harriett Sue (Adams) Stradwick whom he married on June 1, 1987; his step-children, Lynette Longshore, Darick Adams and Jeffery Williams; a host of grandchildren and great- grandchildren; his brother, Eugene (Beverly) Stradwick and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Russell’s Life will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at True Church House of Prayer: 1841 Tremont S.E. at 12:00 PM. Bishop Ike Woods will be officiating.
