Ruby M. Skaggs

Ruby M. Skaggs, age 86, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017. She was born on February 14, 1930 to the late Floyd and Lizzie (Henson) Kegley in Greenup, KY. She married Ellis P. Skaggs on July 12, 1948 and they shared 65 years together until his passing in 2013. Ruby worked as a Nurse's Aide at Rose Lane and a Residential Assistant at Siffrin. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and going to the Casinos. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Ellis (Sheila Torre) Skaggs and Ruth (Roy) King; her grandchildren Michael (Kristin Komlos) Skaggs and Scott (Nicole) Skaggs; Great-Grandchildren Zain, Mason and Mileena; brothers Carl (Rosanne) Kegley and William (Helen) Kegley, her nephew Donald Kegley as well as a host of family and friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her sisters Gladys Blevens, Bertha Dill, Tiny Pauley, Grace Youngman and Georgia Whitt A Celebration of Ruby's life will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 3p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
