Roza Bodollo

Roza Bodollo, age 77 of Massillon, passed away on January 2, 2021. Roza was born on October 7, 1943 in Albis, Transylvania to Laszlo and Eszter (Horvath) Mate. She was a member of the Hungarian American Club in Akron. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and gardening. Roza was an amazing Mama and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Sandor Mate, brother-in-law, Joseph Bodollo, and nephew, Joseph Bodollo. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Elemer, children, Erika (William Shahan) Bodollo, and Eva (Dwayne Miller) Bodollo, grandchildren, Jasmine Bodollo-Ramey, Andrew Shahan, and Summer Shahan, and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Newman’s Creek Cemetery at 14411 Orrville St NW, North Lawrence, OH 44666. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Kidney Foundation at https://www.kidney.org/. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required.
