Roy Joseph Chaddock

Roy Joseph Chaddock, 81, of Canton, passed away on April 2, 2025 at Aviva Hills Senior Living.

He was born on May 11, 1943 to the late Joseph and Doris (Booth) Chaddock in Canton, OH.

Roy was a graduate of Carrollton High School, Class of 1961. He retired from East Ohio Gas Company. He loved cars, drag racing, fishing, hunting, bowling and golfing. Roy was dedicated to his family. Traveling with his late wife was his favorite pastime.

Roy is survived by his loving daughters, Shelley (John) Griggy and Cynthia (Joe) Fedor; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Elaine) Chaddock and Dennis (Debbie) Chaddock; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Lynn (Davis) Chaddock, son, Bryan R. Chaddock; sister, Karen Chaddock.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Stark County Humane Society or a local animal rescue.
