Rosemary Mahaffey

Rosemary Mahaffey, age 75 of Navarre, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Rosemary was born on September 15, 1935 in Navarre the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Horvath) Tormasi. Rosemary was a lifelong resident of Navarre and a 1953 graduate of Navarre High School. She worked in the office at Nickles Bakery for 34 years before retiring in 2000. She was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Tormasi. She is survived by her husband, Harrison Paul Mahaffey, Jr. whom she married on November 30, 1957; her children, Jean (Robert) Thomas of Marrietta, OH, Judy Mahaffey and Paul (Sally Fredericks) Mahaffey both of Navarre; her grandchildren, Christian Derheimer and Bobby Thomas, Jr.; her brothers, Andrew (Susan) Tormasi, Jr. of Navarre, Richard (Marged) Tormasi of Massillon, and Joseph Tormasi of Navarre; her sister, Victoria (Guy) Wallace of Navarre; her sister-in-law Janice Tormasi of Delaware, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Clement Catholic Church. Fr. Raymond Paul will be Officiating. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
