Rosemary Grant passed peacefully at her home from this life to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, August 9, 2006. She was born on April 28, 1931, the daughter of William and Frances Lichtmas. She lived all of her life in Massillon, Ohio. She is survived by her son, Bruce Grant and granddaughter, Sarah Grant of Nashville, TN; daughter, Laurie Grant and granddaughters, Tessa Mullett and Brandy Mullett all of Canton; brother, Paul Szeg of Massillon. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ann Shertzer, Francis Grandstaff and a brother, William Lichtmas, Jr. She was a rose with no thorns and was a devout member of St. Joseph’s parish all her life. Rose was an inspiration to her family and all who knew her. She was a 20 year cancer survivor and outlived her life expectancy by 18 years. Rosemary retired from Ekco Products. She loved music, gardening and was a skilled seamstress, and a excellent cook. Rosemary may best be remembered as a kind hearted, quick witted, intelligent woman. She spent her life helping and praying for her family and friends. She is now continuing to petition for them at the feet of the Lord she so loved. She will be missed and forever loved.
