Rosemary A. Hallett

Rosemary A. Hallett, 85 of Massillon, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 with her family at her side. She was born on December 6, 1931 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna (Riesterer) Heckathorn. She was a graduate of Washington High School and had worked at Republic Steel in the office. She enjoyed flower gardening, crafts and reading mystery books. On June 27, 1953, she married Donald M. Hallett. They shared 55- years of marriage together before his passing in 2009. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother. Rosemary is survived by her children and their spouses, D. Scott (Denise) Hallett, Laurie (Kenneth) McCune and Michael (Jennifer) Hallett, 8 grandchildren, Chris, Jayson and Joey Hallett, Brent, Trevor and Anna McCune and Rachel Hallett and Emily (Tyler) Nolting, 4 great grandchildren, Chris and Aiden and Jackson and Chloe and her sisters, Anita (Jerry) Gray and Katie Woods. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. A reception at the funeral home will follow the service.
