Rosemarie (Rodeman) Adkins, age 79 of Canal Fulton formerly of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away Wednesday at Doctors Hospital following an extended illness. Rosemarie was born on September 5, 1926 in Akron to the late John and Mary (Buchwald) Rodeman. She graduated from North High School in 1944 and later graduated from University of Akron receiving her Associates Degree in Business. Rosemarie retired from Bridgestone - Firestone in 1992 following 32 years of services as a secretary, including working as a secretary to Raymond Firestone. She was a member of the Natatorium in Cuyahoga Falls and St. Martha's Catholic Church in Akron. In her spare time she enjoyed, gardening, walking, hiking, driving, traveling, shopping, reading, and lunches with her friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by; her husband Nelson Adkins, who passed away in 1958, two brothers and a sister, John, Edward and Margaret Rodeman. Rosemarie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Marie Adkins of Canal Fulton, Brothers, Richard Rodeman of Akron and Jerome Rodeman of Michigan, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. There are no calling hours or services. The Arnold- Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon is in charge of the arrangements.
