Roseann Mitchell

Roseann Mitchell, age 63 of Massillon, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 21, 2018. She was born to the late William and Mary Lou Hawthorne in Canton on October 30, 1954. She was a 1972 graduate from Canton South. She married Brad Mitchell and they share over 30 years together. Roseann worked as a waitress. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies, she enjoyed coloring and spending time in Coco Beach Florida. She will forever be remembered as a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Brad; her daughters Shannon (Don) Rohr, Sherri Johnson and Sarah (Matthew) Mendez; her grandchildren Samantha, Elizabeth, Cody, Caleb, David, Shelby, Peyton and Kairi; her sister Denise (Walt) Hatfield; her brothers Len Hawthorne, Sam (Shirley) Hawthorne and Pat (Cindy) Hawthorne; her sister-in-law Betty Hawthorne and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, Roseann was preceded in death by Linda Budd, Doris Hawthorne, Dennis Hawthorne, and Danny Hawthorne. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 2-4p.m. The family would like to thank Mercy Hospice for Roseann’s exceptional care during her illness. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Roseann’s memory to Mercy Hospice.
