Rose Marie Campbell

Rose Marie (Shane) Campbell, of Canton, passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family on July 28, 2017. She was born on May 24, 1930. She married Paul Campbell in 1949 and they shared 62 years until his passing on December 02, 2011. Outside raising and supporting her 11 children, Rose Marie worked at the Brunnerdale Seminary in Food Services; was a Sales Rep for Merle Norman Cosmetics and the Longaberger Basket Company and ran the Junior Golf Program at Holiday Country Club. She was a lifelong and active member of St. Joan of Arc Church. She volunteered for the Food Pantry since its inception and was a member of the Bereavement Committee. She was a strong beautiful woman who always put God and family first. She saw the beauty in simplicity and was a spiritual leader in teaching her children family values. Rose is survived by her children; Paul F. Campbell Jr., Joseph D. Campbell, James (April) Campbell, John M. Campbell, Mary Anne Birtalan, Joan E. Campbell, Rosemary Suarez, Paula (Randolph) Lovallo, Kathleen Plomaritis and Christine (Joseph) Braley; 19 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; her sisters Paula Grabast and Betty Pratt and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Campbell; daughter Theresa Reda; grandson Jimmy Birtalan; her sister Harriet Miculan and her brothers Bob and Art Shane. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11a.m. on Tuesday, August 01, 2017 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
