Rosalie A. Venet

Rosalie A. Venet, 96, passed away on September 11, 2021, following an extended illness. She was born in Johnstown, PA on June 10, 1925 to Salvatore and Catherine (Taormina) Serio. Rosalie was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and Sigma Phi Sorority. She was dedicated to her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and hosting dinners, bowling, knitting and crafting. She was an avid painter and loved all the arts. She is survived by her son, Gerald “Ted” (Gloria) Venet; grandchildren, Michael Venet, Jennifer (Tim) Sieber, Deborah (Jon) Koral and Suzanne (Bruce) Pietz; great-grandchildren, Laura, Timmy, Bailee, Abbey and Marty. In addition to her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband, Peter and a son, James Venet. A Private Entombment service will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
