Rosalee Nina Davisson

Rosalee Nina Bonner Davisson , age 82 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 6, 2013. She was born in Elk, West Virginia on January 8, 1930 to the late Homer and Grace Carr. Rosalee was 1948 graduate from Parsons High School in Parsons, WV. She married Tison "Bob" Bonner and they were together until his passing in 1989. She married Dorsey Davison in 1995 and they were together until his passing in 2008. Rosalee was a longtime member of the Massillon Baptist Temple for many years, involved in many activities with the church, including teaching Sunday School, The Sociable Sixties and visiting nursing homes and shut ins. She enjoyed her retirement life traveling to many destinations and loved to collect Avon collectables. Rosalee will be remembered as devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Rosalee is survived by her son and daughter-in- law, Bob and Debbie Bonner; her two grandchildren Valerie and Seth; her step-children the Rev. Dorsey A. (Mary) Davisson Jr., Barbara (Bill) Coburn and Louise (Jeff) Johnson; 5 step-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren and her brother-in-law Louis Fritz Cooper. In addition to her husbands and her parents , Rosalee was preceded in death by her son Timothy Bonner; her grandson Matthew Bonner; a sister Maysel Cooper and a brother, Denny Carr. A graveside service will be held at Brookfield Cemetery on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until 10:30 A.M at the Paquelet Funeral Home.
