Ronald M. Hissner, 80, of Dellroy, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7th, 2024.
Ronnie was born May 14, 1944 in Canton, OH to the late Richard and Lillian (Woutat) Hissner. He was a retired steel worker for Steel Republic after 33 years of employment, but was equally proud of his time at Walmart, where he worked as a door greeter for 15+ years. It was there where Ronnie made many friends. Ronnie was a member of St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church of Malvern, OH. He loved his farm animals, especially his goats. He would take his baby goats all around town, spreading his cheer and happiness. Ronnie was also locally known as the “Donut Man,” for he would bag up cream sticks and take them around to everyone he knew. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie is preceded in death by his great niece, Lili Graham and great nephew, Logan Graham.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sister Luann Brink (Terry) of Dellroy; brother Eugene Hissner (Beverly) of North Canton; brother Edwin Hissner of Ocala FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, fur babies and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 14th, 11AM at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 125 S. Carrollton St., Malvern, OH 44644, where visitation will also take place, two hours PRIOR to the Mass, from 9AM – 11 AM.
