Ronald R. Mcglynchey

Ronald R. McGlynchey, age 80 of Massillon died Friday August 10, 2012 at Aultman Hospital. Ron was born July 29, 1932 in Massillon to the late Clement A. and Florence (Tabellion)Glynchey. Ron was a sports enthusiat, traveled with a semi-professional basketball tean, was a great outdoorsman and loved nature and animals. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling and basketball. He was employed at LTV Steel Company in Massillon for many years as a heavy equipement operator outside until his retirement. He then was employed at Brookfield Cemetery Ron served in the US Army from 1954-1956 and served in the reserves until 1963. While serving in Germany he officted many sportin events. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Miller) McGlynchey whom he married on August 28, 1965; a brother Chester (Nonie McGlynchey of Michigan and a sistersin law and her husband, Beverly (Bill) Kieldson of Michigan. A Mass of Christian Buiral was Wednesday August 15, 2012 at St. Hilary Catholic Church in Washington, PA. Burial was in Washington Cemetery.
