Ronald R. Domer, 73, of Massillon, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2016. He was born on June 11, 1943 in Orrville, Ohio, to the late Walter and Mae Domer. After high school Ron served in the US Army. He was stationed in Panama. He retired from a long career at Quick Draft. Ron lived the majority of his life in Dalton, Ohio. He loved cars, taking pictures, spending time in the outdoors and his beloved dogs. Ron enjoyed traveling, home improvement projects and helping others however he could. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 40 years, Wilma (Gardner), his sisters, Alice (Charles) Einsig, Lola Faye Domer, his brothers, Donald Domer, Robert Domer, Roger Domer and brother-in-law, Jack Koontz. He is survived by his loving wife, Lana; his stepsons, Alan (Shannon) and Brian Waggoner. Ron was a remarkable grandfather. He loved his grandchildren, Logan, Lauren and Chloe Waggoner and he will be deeply missed. Ron was a great-grandfather and enjoyed spending time with Parker, Noah, Mason, Ace and Addy. He was a wonderful uncle to Teresa (Jeff), Amber and Justin Jager and to Rodney (Shele) Hayden and Alex Davis. He is also survived by sisters, June Koontz, Gloria (George Mishler). Sisters-in-law Lela Horst, Deanna Domer and Sue (Ronnie) Davis. Brothers Walter, Jr (Judy) Domer, Neal (Susie) Domer and many more family and friends. Ron had had a heart of gold. He was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, 12 p.m. at Emmanuel Community Church, 7641 Navarre Rd, Massillon, OH.
