Ronald P. Davis

Ronald P. Davis, 77, of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Ron was born on July 4, 1943 in Massillon, the son of the late Donald E. & Eleanore B. (Reichel) Davis. He was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a United States Marine Corps veteran. He worked as an LPN at Rescare Group Homes and as a custodian for First Christian Church. Ron was a man of many things, he was a husband, a father, a friend, but most of all; a man of faith. He loved to make people laugh by telling jokes and being funny in his own silly way. His few passions in life were not that of just taking care of his family, but cars and how fast they could go, his huge record collection, and most of all, bodybuilding; he spent the majority of his life trying to achieve what he believed to be his ultimate best! He was a good teacher of many things and always willing to help those in need. He may have seemed to have had a rough exterior to some, but ultimately to have known this man was to love him whole heartily! He will be greatly missed but surely never forgotten! He is survived by his loving wife, Christina A. (Hershey) Davis, whom he shared 53 ½ years of marriage; son, Aaron C. (Angela) Davis, and Ronald “Pete” (Regan) Davis II; step-grandchildren, Connor and Aiden Gamber; siblings, Diane B. (John) Eberhardt and Daniel E. (Diana) Davis.
