Ronald Lee Gepfrey

Ronald Lee Gepfrey, 64, passed away on May 13, 2017 following an extended illness. He was born in Massillon on March 17, 1953 to the late William and Eleanor (Smith) Gepfrey. Ron was a graduate of Jackson High School, where he was a member of the football and track teams. He enjoyed many years as an archery instructor for the Boy Scouts of America. Ron retired from The State of Ohio, Indian River School in 2007. He was an avid craftsman, woodworker and handyman. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann (Netling) Gepfrey, whom he married on January 19, 1980; their daughter, Megan Rohrer; grandchildren, Lilah and Sofia, whom he adored; sister, Diane Hinkle; and many other relatives and many friends, whom he cherished. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Gepfrey. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 10:30am, in the Paquelet Funeral Home..
