Ronald Lee Finger

Ronald Lee Finger, 78, of Massillon, passed away on January 25, 2018 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born on June 18, 1939 in Canton, Ohio to the late Walter and Wilda (McClaughlin) Finger. Ronald was a graduate of Jackson High School and proudly served in the Army Reserves. He married Alice Wilson and they shared 42 loving years together before her passing in 2003. Ronald worked for Massillon Steel Casting for 18 years and also worked for Crown, Cork and Seal where he retired from after 20 years of service. He was a member of the NRA and a member of North Lawrence Fishing and Game Club. He will be deeply missed by his children, Tammie (Greg) Stanley, Ronald Jr. (Colette) Finger, and Troy (Mona) Finger; special friend and companion Jeanine Russell; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. The family would also like to give special thanks to Jamie Edgell, Ron’s favorite nurse. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon from 4-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
