Ronald E. ‘Ronnie’ Anderson age 72 of Massillon passed away Tuesday May 6, 2008 as the result of an auto accident. Ronald was born August 10, 1935 in Canton to the late Early G. & Jessie W. (Shaw) Anderson. He was a life resident of Massillon and a 1955 graduate of McKinley High School. He furthered his education at Central State University with a degree in Psychology. Ronnie was a licensed electrician and was employed by the Massillon Board of Education as a custodian at Washington High School. Ronnie was a friend and a help to many. He loved to help people repair things. He always took an interest in kids; asking about their education and dreams. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald & Wallace Anderson, step-father Fred Bray and a grandson Javarre J. Tate. His memory will always be cherished by his wife, Cynthia (Copeland) Anderson, a daughter Latoya Dickens, step-daughter Tiffany Brown and two step-sons Charles Copeland and Jojo Fraser.; two sisters Marva Robinson & Brenda (Lee) Johnson and a brother Victor E. Anderson. There are three grandchildren: Javontae, Kyshad, Camariona and a special grandson Jarron. In addition there are a host of additional relatives and friends. A Homegoing of Ronnie’s Life will be Noon on Tuesday May 13, 2008 at Friendship Baptist Church in Massillon. The Eulogy will be given by Rev. Diana Mabry and Rev. Sharon Johnson. Burial will be at Massillon Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home and Tuesday from 11 AM until the service at the church.
