Ronald D. Wright

Ronald D. Wright, age 81 passed away, Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Community Hospice House, New Philadelphia, following an extended illness. He was born in East Sparta on March 12, 1932 to the late Samuel & Lucille (Slutz) Wright. Ronald retired from Ashland Oil in 1993. He was avid Massillon Football fan, a Past President of the Massillon Booster Club. He enjoyed boating on the Muskingum River. Ron and his wife, Marilyn played the Calliope in parades and before football games. He is survived by his son, Ronald D. (Jennifer) Wright, Jr. three grandchildren, Erinn Wright, Ronald D. "Trey" Wright III and Garret Wright and two brothers Gary & Larry Wright. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn J. Wright. A graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 2:00PM, Rev. Larry Lalama, officiating.
