Ronald A. Patt, age 82 of Massillon, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 4, 2014 with his family around him. He was born on August 25, 1932 in Bellaire, OH the son of the late Albert and Mary Margaret (Corbett) Patt. He lived most of his life in Massillon and graduated from Washington High School in 1950 where he played center for the Massillon Tiger football team. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Ron worked for the Reliance Division of the Eaton Corporation for 30 years and retired from there in 1980 as District Sales Manager of the wire mill products. He was always loved for his charming ways and was quick to complement everyone!! Ron married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Ehret, on December 23, 1951. She preceded him in death on May 30, 1998. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Ronda J. Patt. Ron is survived by his daughter's Terri (Douglas) Paul, and Lori Patt, and son, Rodney (Christine) Patt; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and his brother and sister-in-law, Dr. John W. (Lorna) Patt. The family would like to thank the staff and residents at The Inn at University Village. A Celebration on Ron's Life will be held on Wednesday, September 10th, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home.
