Rollan "Bill" L. Rogers, 93 of Massillon passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2014, following a brief illness. He was born in Springfield, OH on November 23, 1920 to the Late Cletus and Anna Rogers. Bill was a, veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Pacific Theatre, member of the Civilian Conservation Corps and had worked for Ford Motor Company for thirty plus years. He was a member of St. Barbaras Catholic Church and Eagles. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Williams Rogers; children, Bruce Rogers, Marcia Popovich Thomas, Marilyn Hug, Vicki Hellgren, Martha Miller, Harold Sasavicz and Cindy King; nineteen grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret France Rogers and a brother, Cletus Rogers. Friends will gather from 10:30AM to 11:00AM on Saturday, October 4, 2014 with a celebration of life service at 11:00AM in the Paquelet Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Brian Cline on October 11, 2014 at 10:00AM in St. Barbaras Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
