Roland E. Seese

December 23, 1920 — March 21, 2012

Roland E. Seese, 91 of Jackson Township, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Aultman Hospital, Canton, following a brief illness. He was born in Massillon on December 23, 1920 to the late Myron W. and Gladys I. Levers Seese. Rolie was a graduate of Washington High School and Kent State University. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Massillon and was formerly active in Scouting. He is survived by his son, Scot Seese of South Bend, IN; two brothers, Ralph Seese of Lake Cable and Bill Seese of Tuscarawas Township. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Seese; daughter, Karen Seese; son, Greg Seese and three sisters, June Boughman, Eilleen Marsh and Betty Seese. Friends may gather from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Saturday March 31, 2012 at the Paquelet Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 11:00AM, Pastor Rhonda Gallagher, officiating. Burial will be private at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family encourages friends to make a loving donation to the "Health Care Charity" of their choice in lieu of flowers.
