Roger W. Mccallister

Roger W. McCallister, 61 of Massillon, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. He was born in Massillon on July 14, 1953 of the late Gennely Brumfield McCallister. He attended Tuslaw High School and then went on to work at Cleaners Hangers (currently Fiber Corr). He retired earlier this year. Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife Janet D. McCallister in 2006 and his sisters, Linda Kay Datesh and Barb Woods. He is survived by his children, Roger H. (Heidi Diekmann) McCallister, Diane McCallister and Shelby McCallister, 4 grandchildren, Jeremy Moorhead, Melanie Moorhead, Aden McCallister and Autumn Kimble. Also surviving are his siblings, Les (Kelly) McCallister, Kathy (Dave) Moore, Brenda Yarchak, Marie Jones, Peggy McCallister and Kevin McCallister and his uncle Bill (Kathy) Brumfield. A service to celebrate Roger's life will take place on Saturday, April 25th at 1:00 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12-1 P.M.
