Roberta M. Leapline

Roberta M. Leapline age 73 of Massillon, entered into eternity at her daughter’s residence, Saturday afternoon, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 7, 1934 in Canton, to Riley and Mae (Wilson) Hester. Roberta was an avid bowler. She was a dedicated member for over 50 years at the Massillon Baptist Temple Roberta loved the Lord, serving in the choir and the Sunshine Group. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lester L. Leapline who passed away January 10, 2002, five sisters and two brothers. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Teri A. (Dan) Galica, Rhoda M. (Dennis) McCarty both of Massillon; sons and daughter-in-law, Lynn S. Leapline, Lester L. Leapline, Jr and Miles A. (Melissa) Leapline all of Massillon; sister, Grace Dean of Canton; brother, Robert Hester of East Sparta, 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services celebrating Roberta’s life will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Massillon Baptist Temple with Rev. Cecil Thayer officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the church. Interment will follow the services at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
