Robert Steven Weise, Sr.

Robert Steven Weise, Sr., age 50 of Massillon, died on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at his residence surrounded by his wife and family. He was born on November 30, 1957 in Massillon and was a lifelong resident. He attended Jackson High School and served in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Discount Computers, was also a Ham Radio Operator and a certified storm chaser. Steve and Sue spent many hours riding their bikes on the Towpath Trail and enjoyed traveling. His hobbies also included making and selling candles throughout Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father Robert T. Weise. He is survived by his wife, Sue Ann (Lutes) Weise whom he married on September 6, 1974, son Robert S. Weise, Jr. and his companion, Angela Howell and daughters Brittany and Jessica of Brewster, his daughter, Angela Weise of Massillon, his mother Rose Marie (Delbert) Akey of Florida, his sister, Mary (Allen) Foster of Florida, his brother Dennis (Cathy) Weise, stepmother Bessie Weise of Wooster, OH, stepbrother Michael (Barbara) Akey, stepsister, Vickie Gillespie and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5-8 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place.
