Robert W. Stephan Sr.

Robert W. Stephan Sr., 89, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away February 7, 2025. He was born on May 24, 1935 in Massillon, to the late Albert H. and Louise F. Stephan.

Bob was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served his country with distinction in Germany. He loved gardening, was a hunting enthusiast, and enjoyed cooking for his family and others (particularly spicy foods). Bob also enjoyed watching football, playing cards, supporting education & the fine arts in Ohio, and was a Master Storyteller. Bob gained a deep appreciation for and belief in Faith in the second half of his life.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his sisters, Marjorie Jacobs and Marilyn Harmon; his beloved Uncle Donald and Aunt Betty Gentzler; and his much-admired Uncle Bud and Aunt Helen Evans.

He is survived by his children, Rob (Pam) Stephan, Dan (Agnes) Stephan, Randy (Carol) Stephan, and Lori Stephan; sister, Jeanne Sullivan; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is planning a private service at a later date.
